Dentistry I, Halmstad / Sweden, 16 - 20 March 2009 held
Course Masters: Dr. Cecilia Gorrel, DEVDC (GB), Dr. Philippe Hennet, DEVDC, DAVDC (F)
OVERVIEW
This veterinary dentistry course with workshops consists of residential (5 days) and long-distance learning over a period of three years. The goal of this training is to cover theoretical knowledge and practical skills of veterinary dentistry that every general veterinary practitioner needs to know. In addition, certain dental specialties, e.g. endodontics and restorative dentistry are taught.
The residential courses are theoretical and practical. In fact, roughly 50% of the time is spent in the laboratory learning and practicing the procedures. The number of delegates is limited to 30 individuals to allow efficient supervision of the practical procedures.
The long-distance learning is designed to complement and enhance the theoretical knowledge gained during the residential course.
